like andy warhol, i like business and art, and even the business of art. my art practice began about 14 years ago as an exploration of infinite spaces and a revisualization of the terrene through texture and color using oil crayons and other media. after extensive experimentation, my practice evolved into sculpture-on-canvas - sculptures composed of three-dimensional organic found materials through which I seek to evoke the dimensions beyond our normally discernable sensibilities. my work is heavily influenced by music, love of the natural world, and the premise that life is change. next endeavor: sound sculptures. |
